Eric S. Lumberg attended The University of Michigan and University of Detroit School of Law. He has been in practice since 1992 and has been an active member of the Michigan Bar and Oakland County Bar. He is also a former member of the South-Oakland Bar and the Macomb County Bar Associations. With the Oakland County Bar Association, he created and planned the first ever Young Adult Lawyers Fundraiser, which benefitted several local charities and has also served as chair of the Juvinile Law Committee.
He has been on the Executive Committees of the Motor City Music Conference and JARC and is presently chair of the Detroit Jewish Film Festival and on the Board of Directors of the Detroit Metro JCC.
Eugene Lumberg attended Wayne State University for both his Bachelors Degree and Law Degree. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and former president of the Southfield Bar Association and South Oakland Bar Association. He is a former member of the State Bar Representative Assembly.
He is a former Oakland County Prosecutor and currently serves as the City Prosecutor for Oak Park and Huntington Woods. He previously represented various local police/fire/public safety departments as well as cities in labor matters and was certified as a State Act 312 arbitrator. He now serves as an Administrative Appellate Law Judge with the Michigan Employment Relations Commission.
